Recreation Teams
Saucon Valley Youth Basketball offers the following programs for both boys and girls in grades 1 - 8. Youth must reside in the Saucon Valley School District
| 1st/2nd Grade Girls & Boys |
Co-ed, instructional intramural program in the Saucon Valley Elementary cafeteria on 8ft baskets. One or two weekday practices and one game on Saturdays.
3rd/4th Grade Girls and Boys Recreational
Saucon Valleys Recreational All Valley league. Two practices each week and one Saturday game at Southern Lehigh against other SV, Southern Lehigh, Salisbury and/or Bethlehem area teams.
Games begin in December and finish in late February/Early March. There are standings and playoffs.
5th/6th Grade Girls and Boys Recreational
Saucon Valleys Recreational All Valley league. Two practices each week and one Saturday game at Southern Lehigh against other SV, Southern Lehigh, Salisbury and/or Bethlehem area teams.
Games begin in December and finish in late February/Early March. There are standings and playoffs.
Travel
Saucon Valley participates in the following Leagues:
LVKBL and Rising Stars.
Travel games are mostly within 30 minute driving radius of Saucon Valley when not played at Home.
Athletes will attend tryouts in the fall and be evaluated on ball handling, passing, lay ups, speed, shooting, rebounding, defense, effort, and coachability.
Teams will be assigned within 2 weeks after evaluations are completed. Games start late November/Early December and run through late February/Early March.
