About Our Program
Founded in 2008, Saucon Valley Youth Basketball (SVYB) is dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and competitive environment for young athletes to develop their skills and love for the game.
We believe that sports are more than just a game—they teach valuable life lessons about teamwork, discipline, resilience, and leadership. Our league is run by a dedicated group of volunteers and coaches who are committed to the growth of every player.
With over 300 active players across 30 teams, SVYB is one of the largest youth sports organizations for Saucon Valley. We offer programs for all skill levels, from recreational beginner leagues to competitive travel teams.

Basketball Programs for Every Level
1st & 2nd Grade Basketball
A fun, instructional introduction to basketball focused on fundamentals, teamwork, and building confidence. Players learn the game through age appropriate practices and games in a positive environment.
Recreation Basketball
3rd-6th Grade
Our recreational program gives players of all experience levels the opportunity to develop their skills, compete, and have fun. Teams practice during the week and play games throughout the winter season.
Travel Basketball
3rd-6th Grade
Our competitive travel program is designed for players ready for a higher level of basketball. Teams are selected through tryouts and compete against programs throughout the Lehigh Valley.
